Visit the Department
San Diego State University is conveniently located next to the Interstate 8, in the eastern portion of the City of San Diego. The campus can also be reached via the Green Line Trolley from Downtown San Diego and Old Town on the coast, and the cities of Santee and El Cajon in the east county. The department is located in the northwest area of campus.

Permits are required at all times on campus, including evenings, weekends and holidays Visitors have the option of parking in visitor metered lots or structures and lots serviced by self-serve permit machines. Parking fees are $2 per hour beginning July 1, 2015.
Visitors to the department should plan to park in Parking Structure 12 or 7 (permit pay machine), or Lot 8 (metered).
Alternatives to driving include the light-rail Trolley(link) or an extensive Bus System(link). The hub of both of these options is the SDSU Transit Center located on the south side of campus. A Regional Day Pass can be purchased for $5.00 and allows unlimited use on the Trolley and most Bus lines.
