It is with great pride that the AAG Geographic Information Science and

Systems Specialty Group (GISSG) named the GISSG Distinguished Career

Award in honor of Robert T. Aangeenbrug. The Distinguished Career

Awards Committee selected Dr. Roger F. Tomlinson as the

first recipient of the Robert T. Aangeenbrug GISSG Distinguished Career Award.

The award will be presented to Dr. Tomlinson at the AAG Annual Meeting

Banquet on April 7, 2005 in Denver.
